The highly anticipated Senna series premieres worldwide on November 29. However, in São Paulo, an exclusive premiere event offered an early screening of the first two episodes. Hosted by Netflix at the Ibirapuera Auditorium on Tuesday evening (26th), the event brought together journalists, the series cast and crew, celebrities, and Ayrton Senna’s family.
Ayrton’s sister, Viviane Senna, attended the event alongside her daughters – multidisciplinary artist Lalalli Senna and Bianca Senna, CEO of Senna Brands. Together, they watched the first two episodes of the production that portrays Ayrton Senna’s life both on and off the racetrack.
“Ayrton’s personality remains an inspiration even today. He represents not just the idea of victory, but a victory grounded in values such as determination, persistence, discipline, and hard work. This is the message we want to share, especially with younger generations—that everyone is born with potential”, Viviane remarked before the screening began.
On the red carpet, actors, directors, and producers shared their experiences and expectations for the series, hailed as a milestone in Brazilian audiovisual production. Guests also had the chance to explore special items, such as helmets and racing suits used during filming, replicas of cars built specifically for the series, and iconic props like trophies.
Outside the theater, the original McLaren MP4/5B was on display – the same car driven by Lewis Hamilton during this year’s São Paulo Grand Prix.
