O May 1st, the date that marks 20 years of Ayrton Senna’s legacy, Iguatemi Ribeirão Preto shopping mall opens the “Senna Emotion – 20 Years of a Legacy” exhibit, in partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute, Iguatemi Shopping Centers Company and Dunlop – leader in tire manufacturing.

The interactive travelling exhibit recreates the personal and professional trajectory of one of Brazil’s greatest idols through personal objects, pictures, videos and stories.

The space, featuring themes that marked the driver’s career and legacy, will be divided in three parts. At the “Starting Line”, the gest gets to know a little more about Senna’s private life through a display with items like glasses, a bible, gloves, shirts and watches, besides video interviews with personalities, friends and relatives.

“A Winner’s Trajectory” deals with important moments of Senna’s career, like the start of his story in motor sports, his classic 007 go-kart and his helmet and suit. The tour ends at the “Podium”, where visitors will find real trophies and be able to interact with a virtual one, through augmented reality, and share pictures with friends.

“The exhibit is part of the celebrations for the 20 years of Ayrton’s legacy. It’s a way of honoring and remembering one of the country’s biggest idols. Besides reliving Ayrton’s trajectory, the visitor will be able to interact with the pieces and share with friends their picture with a virtual trophy”, said Viviane Senna, Ayrton Senna Institute’s president.

On display at Iguatemi Ribeirão until June 15th, the exhibit will tour other Iguatemi malls, passing through Florianópolis, Sorocaba, São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto, Porto Alegre, Brasília and Campinas. The exhibit was conceived and developed by YDreams, an international company that specializes in interactive technology and produced by 360 Arte, Cultura e Entretenimento.
