January 31 is International Magician’s Day, and Ayrton Senna was often described as “magic” due to his feats on the track. With that in mind, the official Ayrton Senna Instagram page (@oficialayrtonsenna) has created several polls in its stories so fans can vote for the most unforgettable magic moment in the career of the three-time F1 world champion.

The Ayrton Senna Institute has chosen eight of the F1 driver most celebrated races, pairing them as follows:

Duel 1- ’91 Brazilian GP x ’93 Brazilian GP

Duel 3- ’88 Japanese GP x ’85 Portuguese GP

The winners of the round of eight were: Brazil ‘91, Europe ‘93, Japan ’88 and Monaco ’92.

In the first semi-final, Senna’s unprecedented win at home, at the 1991 Brazilian GP, is beating his unforgettable lap at Donington Park, in 1993, when Senna put on a spectacle on the first lap, overtaking Michael Schumacher, Karl Wendlinger, Damon Hill and Alain Prost.

In the second semi-final, the win of the 1988 title in Japan is virtually tied in vows against Senna’s heroic triumph at the 1992 Monaco Grand Prix, when Ayrton was able to hold Nigel Mansell behind his McLaren for several laps until both of them crossed the finish line.
