The most moving story involving Ayrton Senna and football took place in 1994, when the driver and the Brazilian squad made a pact to bring two unprecedented fourth titles to Brazil, both in F1 and in football. After a nerve-wrecking penalty shootout against Italy in the World Cup final, which took place in the United States, the squad won its fourth World Cup, 24 years after the previous one. During the celebration, a banner stood out among the overjoyed players and staff: “Senna… We sped up together, the title is ours!”

The full story was told by Raí, who was wearing the #10 jersey at the time, in an interview to Senna TV.

Besides Raí, Senna TV has also talked to Ricardo Rocha, a player who captures the essence of the 1994 triumph thanks to his leadership both on and off the field, and who mentioned Ayrton Senna in his speech to the other players before they took to the field to face Italy.
