The weekend of the 1984 Monaco GP was one of the most special ones in Ayrton Senna’s career. On Thursday night, after the free practice sessions, Ayrton went to the Monte Carlo Casino with some friends, and decided to bet all his chips on the number 19, the same he had on his Toleman. The bet paid off, and the Brazilian driver was lucky that night. One of the members of Ayrton’s group was Reginald Leme, the reporter and current F1 commentator for TV Globo.
“He bet on 19 and surrounded it with other bets. He won big on 19”, said Reginaldo in his interview to Senna TV. Check out the 1984 Monaco GP full story in our talk with Reginaldo.
