Netflix announced this Thursday that Senna, a fictional miniseries about the story of one of the greatest idols in world motorsport, will hit the screens on November 29th.

The miniseries also got its official poster, which reveals Gabriel Leone as Ayrton Senna on the race tracks holding the iconic green and yellow helmet, the driver’s trademark, and illustrates the idea of ​​time and speed, the guiding threads of the story.

Over the course of six episodes, Senna will show, for the first time in fiction, Ayrton’s path of overcoming, disagreements, joys and sadness, exploring his personality and personal relationships. The story begins with the beginning of the three-time Formula 1 champion’s racing career, from karting to his move to England to compete in Formula Ford, and continues until the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.

Cast names

The miniseries features important characters from the pilot’s life, such as Alain Prost (Matt Mella), Galvão Bueno (Gabriel Louchard) and Xuxa (Pâmela Tomé). The story also stars Alice Wegmann (Lilian, Ayrton’s first wife), Camila Márdila (Vivianne Senna, his sister), Christian Malheiros (Maurinho, the pilot’s friend), Hugo Bonemer (Nelson Piquet), Julia Foti (Adriane Galisteu) , Kazuhiro Muroyama (Soichiro Honda), Marco Ricca (Miltão, Ayrton’s father), Nicolas Cruz (Leonardo, his brother), Rodrigo Veloso (Flávio, brother-in-law) and Susana Ribeiro (Zaza, Ayrton’s mother).
