Several tributes to Ayrton Senna took place in the month of May, in the year we celebrate 20 years of his legacy. Special events have helped bring to life the memory of Senna’s conquests all over the world.

In Italy, the highlight was the Senna Tribute, which took place at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, in Imola. In Japan, Honda produced a moving video recreating a historic lap our eternal champion made at Suzuka.

In the US, Simon Pagenaud raced the traditional Indy 500 wearing a helmet that sported the colors made famous by Senna. And, obviously, in Brazil, several teams used their cars to honor the driver, like Formula Truck’s Roberval Andrade and young go-kart driver Sérgio Henrique Paiva, who raced with an inscription on his livery that read “Ayrton Senna Always – 20 Years”.
