A temporada
Ayrton Senna’s debut season with McLaren was brilliant. Their partnership would last for six seasons. He had eight wins and three best laps, totaling 90 points and an uncontested world title.
It is true though that Alain Prost made the races even more exciting. Both arrived at the Japanese Grand Prix with real chances at victory and, when all seemed lost for the Brazilian driver, Senna gave one his most memorable performances and forever left his mark on Formula 1 history.
