The Ayrton Senna Institute received, last Thursday, in São Paulo, a visit from Prince Harry of Wales (United Kingdom). He was welcomed by the Institute’s president, Viviane Senna, and got to know the organization’s work bringing quality public education to 2 million students, every year, all over Brazil.

The Prince, fourth in the line of succession to the British throne, came to Brazil to forge closer ties with the country and took part in the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday. The date is celebrated every year at the British Embassy.

The Ayrton Senna Institute was among the social projects chosen by the British Consulate for the Prince`s visit.

Harry talked to children and teenagers benefited by educational programs in schools that have partnered with the Ayrton Senna Institute. The students told the Prince how the Institute helps them to become winners both in school and in life. Harry also heard from Viviane about the main problems that Brazil faces in the field of Education.

There was also a moment of playfulness, with a racing simulator. This is Priince Harry`s second time in Brazil.
